How I test adult AI apps
Every app on this site cost me money. I pay for the subscriptions and credit packs myself, through a separate account with its own email, and I use each app the way you would. Only then does it get a score. The steps are the same in every review, so you can compare apps side by side.
What I test
I chat, build characters, make pictures and videos and try the voice features, wherever the app offers them. Its content rules get the same treatment: I find out how far they let me go.
I check pricing and what shows up on the card statement. Then I use the most capable AI models to understand privacy terms.
Many apps I try never make it onto the site. Only the ones worth a full review do.
How the score is given
Each app gets an overall score on a scale of 1 to 10, where 1 is the lowest score and 10 the highest, given to one decimal.
The score is my editorial judgment, weighed across four areas:
- Experience: do chat, memory, customization and browsing deliver the app's main promise in hands-on use?
- Media quality: for apps that make pictures or video, how good is the output in practice?
- Pricing: are pricing, credits, renewals, refunds and restrictions clear before payment?
- Trust & access: are privacy, moderation and platform-access details specific enough to rely on?
A high score means the app delivers what it promises with few catches. A low score means real gaps in the experience, the pricing or the trust side.
Dates and updates
When an app's pricing, content rules, platform access or anything else material changes, I re-check its review. You will see how current the review is from when it was last updated.
Billing, privacy and discretion
Adult AI apps are easy to start and harder to judge at checkout. Renewals, credits and how discreet the charge looks on your statement all matter. So does privacy: notifications, account deletion, and whether your private content may still be reviewed for moderation or safety. I check all of it. Before you pay:
- Read the renewal, cancellation, refund, credit, token and coin terms first, then choose a plan or credit pack.
- If discretion matters, check the checkout page for the name the charge will show on your statement.
- Use a dedicated email address and review the notification settings. Keep screenshots and generated media out of shared folders.
- Canceling a subscription doesn't delete your account. It doesn't remove your support, billing, chat or generated-media records either.
No-filter claims and content rules
"No filter," "uncensored" and "unfiltered AI" usually mean looser explicit chat. Adult AI apps still have terms, moderation and content limits of their own.
- No-filter marketing doesn't mean anything goes.
- Image and video generation may still be moderated for legal compliance. Browse the app's AI porn library to see what it seems to allow.
- If content freedom is why you're choosing an app, read its own terms: rules and how they're enforced can change.
